At CAiM Counseling, I am dedicated to providing compassionate counseling services to individuals struggling with mental health and sports related concerns. My goal is to empower clients to achieve their personal goals and to improve their overall quality of life.
I use a variety of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, Brainspotting, Person Centered, Reality based and Dialectical Behavioral therapy to help clients overcome negative thought patterns and behaviors as well as improving overall functioning. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, addressing both the mind and body.
Erin Williams is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP). Erin has spent over 17 years working with a variety of individuals and mental health concerns. She has a particular interest in the young adult and adult populations (ages 19 and up) who are experiencing significant life changes such as trauma, life transitions, grief/ loss, perinatal/post-partum, depression, anxiety, codependency and career struggles. Erin will also accept referrals for adolescent and adult athletes (16 and up) if specific to sports related counseling.
I offer individual counseling services that are tailored to your specific needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal struggles or a big life transition I am here to help.
We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why I offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect with me from the comfort of your own home. Teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient.
Counseling services are designed to help you overcome fear, stress, and anxiety. I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behavior, and develop strategies to manage your anxiety.
Counseling services can help you overcome feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and despair. There are two layers that need to be looked at which are external and internal triggers for depression. Once identified the goal is to elicit change and improve strategies to manage your depression.
Trauma counseling services can help you overcome the effects of traumatic events. I use Brainspotting and TF-CBT to help resolve and heal past trauma.. I do my best to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your experiences and develop strategies to move forward.
